Also, after some trial and error, I discovered that if I put "%20" followed by the year, I get T:W/B 2024.

I added a "," to separate and copy the same code again. You can put the year like this:

.data.tags span a[href$="=T%3AW%2FB"], .data.tags span a[href$="=T%3AW%2FB%202024"]
{ background: #9f958a; color: #ffffff !important; } /* The Wolf Brigade */

That same code works with another letter, right?
If I wanted to write: F:L/A, I would have to change it to: F%3AL%2FA

@EnderVsqz626 By "not allowed", I take it you mean you're unable to colour them with CSS? If so, it's not so much because the characters are invalid, but rather that the URL version is different than the plain text. What we need to target is the URL version as that is what the CSS is searching for. Unfortunately the preview on mouse-over trick I always recommended seems to hide this nowadays, but I can still see it in my URL/address bar when I click on the tag:

When using this URL-encoded version of the tag text, you can select it with CSS:

.data.tags span a[href$="=T%3AW%2FB"]
{ background: #9f958a; color: #ffffff !important; } /* The Wolf Brigade */

You will notice that most special characters get encoded this way. It's just how URL queries work, but it's important to know when selecting tags as we are applying our CSS by looking for their URL value, not the plaintext. Out of the ways to find the encoded text (such as checking the HTML via inspect element or running it through a URL encoder), clicking on it and checking the browser URL bar is probably the easiest for most people. That is, provided the browser doesn't hide the encoding there too... some things are getting too abstracted in modern browsers I swear. Don't get me started on Safari hiding the protocol and path until you click on the address bar, that drives me mad.

Hi, I need a little help. I would like to create a tag.

I got the background colour I wanted, but some of the characters I want to use don't seem to be allowed.
my main intention was to create a tag with these: [T:W/B].

Which I think the characters I can't use are: The sign ‘:’, the square brackets [] and The sign / slash or The sign `slash` is called backslash.

What do you propose?
I know I can use () instead of [].
Same case instead of : use .
But I have no replacement for /

or I choose the easy way and just write TWB

@Valerio_Lyndon The "Glow" Era of MAL CSS was like the 1980s hair metal era of music. It was new, and we didnt know better!
